The Queen City Mothers of Twins Club is a non-profit organization
that was founded on February 19, 1969 with 13 members. The story
begins with Ginny Foley and Shirley Marino. Ginny had met
Shirley and they both had twins. Ginny was looking to begin
a club for mother's of twins. Shirley had placed an ad in
the newspaper looking to sell a double stroller. The response
was unbelievable. Shirley now knew numerous people from the
ad so they came together and founded what is an amazing club that
continues to grow with each day.
Today, 40 years later the club has over 90 members.
To this day the QCMOTC strives to support mother's of twins.
We host meetings where mothers of twins can get support and discuss
issues they may be having with their twins.
We also share stories and joys of raising multiples. Often
you will discover that the problems and frustrations you encounter
in raising multiples have been experienced by others and it
is beneficial to discuss them with others who have experienced it.
Being a parent of multiples creates challenges however with the
support of the friends you will make in Queen City Mothers of Twins
Club, it can become a fullfilling experience.
