New Hampshire Twin Law
Senate Bill 78 officially became the NH Twin Law on July 13, 2007. Thank you to everyone who helped in the effort to create this law. We are the fourth state in the country to have a Twin Law. You can get a copy of the final text of the Law at www.gencourt.state.nh.us. This experience was amazing and I am so proud of what we accomplished. Thank you all, Trisha

Local Fundraiser Delivers Discounted Fun
Queen City Mothers of Twins Club is selling Breathe New Hampshire’s FunPass

Queen City Mothers of Twins Club is raising funds by selling the Fun Pass developed and distributed by Breathe New Hampshire.  The coupon booklet provides over $1,000 in discounts at over 100 popular tourist attractions in New England.  Some of the locations include Story Land, Canobie Lake Park, Water Country, and a number of ski packages at popular resorts.  The majority of the attractions are located in New Hampshire, with others in nearby Massachusetts, Maine, and Vermont.
In most instances the coupons provide free or discounted children’s admission when accompanied by a paying adult.  For complete information regarding the discounts and a comprehensive listing of all participating attractions visit www.breathenh.org
The price for each booklet is $25.00.  Queen City Mothers of Twins Club receives $5.00 for each book sold through the organization.  The remaining $20.00 supports Breathe New Hampshire’s smoking prevention programs for children in New Hampshire.  Orders must be placed through March 17 to benefit both organizations.
For more information or to place your order, contact Elaine Pavitt at 493-8473.  Your order will not only provide a great return on your investment, but will also support two great organizations
The Queen City Mothers of Twins Club (QCMOTC) is a non-profit organization that was founded on February 19, 1969 with 13 members. The story begins when two mothers of twins met…their names: Ginny Foley and Shirley Marino. Ginny was looking to begin a club for mothers of twins. Shirley had placed an ad in the newspaper looking to sell a double stroller. The response to the ad was unbelievable. Shirley, knowing numerous people from the ad, got together with Ginny and founded what is now an amazing club that continues to grow with each day. Today, 40 years later the club has over 85 members. Our members reside in Manchester, Bedford, Londonderry, Derry, Goffstown, Hooksett, and other surrounding towns. Our primary goal is to assist families of multiples. Most of our support consists of offering information, time, supplies, and friendship…but typically it goes much further than this.  Queen City Mothers of Twins Club, Manchester, meets the third Wednesday of every month, 7 pm Knights of Columbus Hall, South Porter Street.
